Indigenous Mentorship Program

The purpose of the Indigenous Mentorship Program is to match Indigenous Alberta lawyers with law students, articling students or newly called lawyers who identify as First Nation, Metis, or Inuit. This program provides an opportunity for mentees to meet and connect with experienced Indigenous counsel.
Based on what the mentee hopes to achieve from their mentoring relationship, mentees will choose their mentors in a self-serve online platform. Mentors will meet regularly (one-on-one) with their mentee over a 6-month period to provide advice, guidance, and connections.
