Tribunal Office
The Law Society is the independent regulator of over 9,500 practicing lawyers in Alberta. The Law Society protects the public interest, and promotes a high standard of legal services and professional conduct. A self-regulated legal profession, dedicated to upholding the public interest, is fundamental to a free and democratic society.
The Tribunal Office provides independent support to the Law Society adjudicators. The Tribunal Office is also responsible for scheduling pre-hearing conferences and hearings, and for publishing hearing outcomes.
Law Society hearings are impartial, and are conducted in a manner that is timely, fair and transparent.
