As of yesterday, the Law Society has moved operation of the Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) in-house, from its previous service provider, Calgary Legal Guidance (CLG). We want to thank CLG for providing telephone operation for this service for many years and connecting countless Albertans with lawyers along the way.

LRS has long been one of the Law Society’s most popular services with the public. Our customer service team will assume operation of LRS, expanding both the number of available staff and technology available to serve both Alberta’s lawyers and the public.

Customer service staff will respond to inquiries via telephone (contact information remains the same) as well as a new email option, available via the Law Society website. An additional online chat is also being implemented in the spring.
