Law Matters Magazine: Call for Submissions for Civility Column

May 28, 2025

The Law Society of Alberta and The Canadian Bar Association – Alberta Branch are partnering on a new article series for Law Matters magazine to foster conversations on civility in practice.

Have a question about civility or a tricky civility scenario that other lawyers should know about? The Law Society’s Practice Advisors will be writing a regular column with answers to questions and advice on navigating scenarios raised. Please send your questions or scenarios the Practice Advisors using the form below. No names or identifying details will be shared in the column.

The Practice Advisors continue to be available for confidential conversations to help Alberta lawyers, articling students, and legal support staff with legal, ethical and practice inquiries. We hope this column will complement the work of the Practice Advisors by opening an additional pathway for shared learning and dialogue to support a deeper understanding of civility.
