The International Anti-Corruption Court: To Be or Not To Be? Webinar
The Commonwealth Lawyers Association and the Coalition for International Anti-Corruption Court present a webinar on “The International Anti-Corruption Court: To Be or Not To Be?”, moderated by Diana Constantinide, Barrister specialising in International Criminal Law and Human Rights.
Calls for the creation of an International Anti-Corruption Court (IACC) have gained momentum as corruption continues to undermine democracy, development and the rule of law worldwide. But would such a court be an effective solution—or an impractical ambition?
This webinar will bring together leading experts, practitioners and policymakers to examine the case for and against the establishment of an IACC. It will explore the legal, political and practical challenges, as well as alternative approaches to combating grand corruption at the global level.
Participants will gain a nuanced understanding of the debate and the implications for international justice, accountability and governance reform.
