The first set of regulations to the Condominium Property Amendment Act have been finalized and approved. This stage contains a number of new and improved protections for buyers of new and converted condominiums.

The Alberta Lawyers’ Assistance Society is offering yoga sessions taught by lawyer and judiciary volunteers for people to learn techniques to improve focus and lower stress levels. It is an occasion for people employed in the administration of justice as judges, lawyers, paralegals, assistants, civic leaders, and law students of all faiths to celebrate the beginning of the new judicial term and ask for blessing, strength, and enlightenment in the pursuit of justice for all.
