Legal Aid Alberta (LAA) is hosting a virtual education session for lawyers on Friday, Jan. 23 from 1 – 4 p.m. on psychological testing used in various types of child welfare capacity assessments.

The session will feature Dr. Valerie Massey, clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, and Ashley V. Massey, psychometrist.

This session will cover psychological tests commonly used in assessments — when they are most appropriate, what is involved in the testing, how results are standardized and how to challenge them.
