CLIA Voluntary Excess Program
The Alberta Lawyers Insurance Association (ALIA) recommends that law firms consider purchasing excess coverage for additional protection from the Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association (CLIA).

As the value of client matters and transactions increases over time, so does the need to secure adequate levels of errors and omissions insurance.
The rates for July 1, 2010 are as follows:

Excess coverage is effective upon acceptance of your application by CLIA.
