Notice of Suspension - Jodie Holder
On February 14, 2011, a Hearing Committee found the conduct of Jodie Holder, a suspended member of the Law Society who formerly practised in Edmonton, Alberta, to be deserving of sanction on one citation involving inappropriate personal conduct which brought the profession into disrepute.
The Hearing Committee ordered, pursuant to section 72(1)(b) of the Legal Profession Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. L-8, that the membership of the member shall be suspended for 6 months, effective immediately. The Hearing Committee directed that if the member applies to be reinstated, the entire record of the hearing will be included in the materials reviewed by the Committee. The Hearing Committee also ordered costs of the hearing assessed at $2,000.00.
